Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator
📍 Gulfport, Mississippi
🕒 Full-Time | In-Person
We are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This role is essential to keeping our job sites running efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Do
• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and track hoes
• Perform rough and finish grading
• Excavate and move earth for construction projects
• Dig trenches, foundations, and drainage systems
• Load and transport materials safely
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily
• Follow all safety procedures and job site protocols
• Work alongside crews and supervisors to complete projects on time
What We’re Looking For
• Experience operating heavy construction equipment
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Strong understanding of grading and excavation
• Ability to read blueprints and site plans (preferred)
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Safety-first mindset
• Equipment certifications are a plus
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods
Pay & Benefits
Competitive Pay
$20–$25 per hour (based on experience)
Operator Levels:
• Class 3: $18/hour
• Class 2: $21/hour
• Class 1: $25/hour
